Statement: As far back as I can remember, I have been a problem solver. From this I became a General Contractor, City Councilman, Planning Commissioner, and Youth Soccer Coach. Recently I have come to the realization that the city I have made my family’s home is losing its identity.
As a problem solver, I have been researching and consulting with local community members concerning the fairgrounds, river front mill site property, and city pool. I feel my years of construction knowledge and time spent as a council member and planning commissioner would benefit in revitalizing the park and recreation areas of the City of Waitsburg.
I have decided to further commit myself to my community again to be a part of the solution to keep these valuable public services in Waitsburg.
I feel that running for a commissioner position on the Park and Recreation District would allow me to do this. My plan is to work with local government, community groups, citizens of Waitsburg, and the Parks and Recreation Commissioners to bring back our traditional events, encourage new businesses and to create new revenue streams.
Let us all work together, to show why Waitsburg is One of a Kind.
His term expires in 2025.
